Slashdot | SUSE 9.1 Personal ISO Available For Free Download
I posted this article so that I could read it at my leisure. I'm hoping to eventually install Linux on a computer that I build. I've got lots and lots of computer parts in my closet. I just need a computer case and power supply to complete everything. And then lots of free time to put everything together.

does that mean that she doesn't care about his professional career goals. Isn't he an application administrator, or something, and needs to be proficient at administering Linux-like servers? Wouldn't it be beneficial if he could gain some experience and hone his technical skills at home??? hmm...

sadly, it's not the same. While he certainly loves baking cakes, he's way behind his co-workers on server administration and therefore is often caught looking bad when he has to say "I don't know" to questions. The only way to gain that knowledge is through experience. So, I think his wife would understand if he took a couple hours out of the plethora of hours during the week... for instance, there is a certain month long, world-wide sporting event that she is particularly obsessed with. What if he spent time learning the skills he needs while she watches those?
