Kryptonite bike locks are not safe

Your brand new U-Lock is not safe!

This is unbelievable. Apparently, someone discovered that Kryptonite bike locks can be picked using the end of a bic ballpoint pen. The post on bikeforums.net describes how to open the locks and even has a demonstration video. This means that the Kryptonite bike lock I have is now worthless. Kryptonite says they are rushing a new disc-style cylinder lock, but how long will it be before some figures out how to pick it with a toothpick or coffee stirrer.
